Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, after a man died following a three car pile-up near Storms River on Sunday afternoon.
Police Spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says a Toyota Conquest, a Peugeot and a Subaru collided about 5km from Storms River.
She says the 48-year-old driver of the Conquest - later died in hospital.
Swart says the driver of the Subaru, a 45-year-old man, was injured and taken to hospital, while the driver of the Peugeot, an 85-year-old woman sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
