A Port Elizabeth man has been killed in a suspected gang-related shooting in Helenvale, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says a lone gunman wearing a balaclava opened fire on the occupants of a house in Gail Road on Monday night, killing 37-year-old Cariston van Ross.
He says Van Ross was hit in the upper body and legs and he died on the scene.
A case of murder is under investigation.
This was one of several gang-related shootings reported by Port Elizabeth police in the past 24 hours.
