Police have launched a manhunt after a 65-year-old resident was killed in a business robbery in Mossel Bay.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening in Extension 13.
Da Gamaskop SAPS said a case docket of murder, attempted murder, and business robbery is being investigated after police responded to a business robbery at a shop in Marlin Street.
"On arrival on the scene, the 65-year-old male was found lying in front of the store, wounded. A 36-year-old foreign national was wounded inside the store," said spokesperson Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp.
He said witnesses reported four suspects fleeing the scene after the incident.
Kapp said both victims were taken to the provincial hospital where it was later reported that the 65-year-old had died of his wounds.
The other victim was transferred to a hospital in George.
Kapp said Da Gamaskop SAPS deployed all possible resources to assist with the ongoing investigation.
