Police in Despatch are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a fatal crash in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police Spokesperson Captain Gerda Swart says it is alleged that the 29-year-old man lost control over his Volvo before it overturned.
She says he was travelling in the Main Road of Despatch heading towards Botha Street.
His two passengers sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.
The name of the deceased will be released once his family has been notified.
