A 33-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in an accident on the N2 near Mossel Bay on Saturday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp says a preliminary investigation suggests that the driver of a bakkie lost control of the vehicle on the N2 between Dana Bay and the Langeberg Mall.
The road in the direction of Cape Town had to be closed for a while while police and emergency services attended to the scene.
The cause of the accident is still unknown and Kwanonqaba police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
