Kariega police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a man was killed in an accident on the Rocklands Road on Saturday morning.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says a Chevrolet SUV was traveling from Kwanobuhle in the direction of Kariega when the vehicle left the road and overturned.
She says the deceased, 55-year-old Charles Mabindisa was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene while a 13-year-old passenger was taken to hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident and the investigation continues.
