Grahamstown police are investigating a case of culpable homocide, after a man in his early forty's was killed in a car accident on the N2 in the direction of Peddie on Sunday morning.
Police Captain, Mali Govender says an open bakkie, which was transporting ten people, allegedly lost control, and it overturned.
She says the man died at the scene, and the injured were taken to hospital.
Govender says some of the passengers sustained critical injuries.
