A 35-year old man was killed, and 5 other people were seriously injured, in a head-on collision op the N2 in the Kei Cuttings near Kei Bridge on Friday evening.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says the injured were rushed to Butterworth Hospital.
He says the cause of the accident is not known, and Kei Bridge police detectives are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Manatha said the identity of the deceased was being withheld until his next of kin had been informed of his death.
