A 21 year-old man will appear in the Uitenhage Magistrate's court tomorrow on a charge of murder after a 40-year-old man was stabbed and killed last night.
Police Warrant Officer Marianette Olivier says police received a complaint of fighting at the Bayroad Tavern in Durban Road, Uitenhage, at about 10-30pm.
The fighting spilled over to a nearby petrol station, where a group of four men chased down the deceased.
Olivier says they threatened him with a spade, beer bottle and knife. He was stabbed in the neck and died at the scene.
Uitenhage Police managed to arrest one suspect, but the other three are still at large.
