Man gunned down Bethelsdorp

Police in Gqeberha are investigating a case of murder after the body of a man was discovered on Wednesday.

Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says police responded to a complaint of a body lying in the bushes near Impatience Street in Extension 31 in Bethelsdorp shortly after 10 am.

She says they discovered the body of 27-year-old Romeo Jacobs who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
