Police in Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape are appealing to the public for help after the body of a man was found in Middle Beach Road on Wednesday.
In a brief statement, police said the man's body was found by a jogger at around 6.30 am.
A police spokesperson said he had sustained a stab wound.
The motive appeared to be robbery as the deceased's watch and cell phone are missing.
The identity of the man who is from Bryanston in Johannesburg will only be released once the next of kin has been duly informed.
A massive search, including members of the local neighbourhood watch, was launched for the suspect or suspects.
