A 29-year old man has been fined R600 in the Uitenhage Magistrates court for the possession of dagga valued at R20 000.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Basil Seekoei, says the suspect was arrested on Sunday in the Kamesh area.
Meanwhile, two other suspects aged 22 and 40 also appeared in court on Monday for allegedly dealing in drugs.
Seekoei says their case was provisionally withdrawn pending tests to verify if the substances found in their possession was that of Mandrax.
