Man falls to his death from Gqeberha flats

Gqeberha police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man who is believed to have fallen from a block of flats in Sidwell on Friday afternoon.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscila Naidu, said the body of the unknown male was found outside Kudu Flats in Gould Street.

“It is further alleged that the person fell to his death from the 6th floor.  Circumstances surrounding the fatal fall is unknown at this stage,” she said.

Naidu said the deceased is between 25 and 30-years-old and was wearing a brown T-shirt and black and grey jeans. “He has black hair, a beard, and a moustache.”

Police have opened an inquest docket.

Naidu said anyone who can assist in identifying the deceased or may know him is asked to contact D/W/O Errol Kleinhans at SAPS Algoa Park on 083 243 4567 or the nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
