Police in Gqeberha have opened up an inquest docket after the body of a man was found lying inside the Booysens Park Community Hall.
Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says it is alleged that the caretaker stumbled upon the body when he opened the hall on Monday morning.
She says the 42-year-old man was lying in the hall with fatal injuries and it is further alleged that he had fallen through the roof.
An inquest docket was opened at the Chatty police station.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
