A 35 year-old Port Elizabeth man is fighting for his life in hospital after being critically wounded in a suspected gang-related shooting in the Northern Areas suburb of Schauderville.
Police captain Johan Rheeder says unknown attackers shot the man in the neck and chest on the corner of Neave and Searle roads in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Rheeder says a number of spent cartridges were found at the scene.
The man was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.
