Man arrested for killing Hankey woman

A man in his early 20's is expected to appear in the Hankey Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder, after the body of a 28-year-old woman was found in Plakkerskamp.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the woman sustained head injuries.

She says it appears that she was hit with a blunt object.

The motive for the attack is not known.
