Man arrested for 25 bags of perlemoen

A 35 year old man has been arrested for being in posession of 25 bags of perlemoen.

Eastern Cape police spokesperson, major Ernest Sigobe, says he was arrested during a tri-lateral crossborder operation between police in the Eastern, Western and Northern Cape.

He says the perlemoen has a street value of R250,000.

The suspect will appear in court in Willowmore on Friday.
