Male nurse arrested for rape at Butterworth hospital

 A male nurse from Butterworth Hospital has been arrested for allegedly raping of a 27-year-old patient twice over the weekend.

Police spokesperson, captain Jackson Manatha, says the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He says the 30-year-old student nurse will appear in court on Wednesday.

Manatha says police are investigating two counts of rape.
