Lucky escape for PE man in shoot-out

A PE man had a lucky escape, following a shoot-out in a residential area of the city on Saturday.

Police spokesperson WO Alwin Labans says the incident happened shortly after 1pm in Parkside.

He says a man, driving in a silver grey Honda was involved in a shoot-out with people in a VW Amarok.

Labans says 23 spent cartridges were found on the scene.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
