This is for Wednesday's Local Government Elections, the commission also briefed the media on their state of readiness for the elections.Reverend Bongani Finca, the ordained Cleric and Commissioner of the Electoral Commission said he is impressed by the province's level of readiness.
"It is a logistical plan that they have for this election but of course it depends on good weather. We are praying that the weather is good, because they have to traverse the province through very bad roads at times.
It is important that all those plans come together" he saidHe added that those who did not register but had registered for previous elections are also listed on the voter's roll within their municipal borders. "The only problem happens after you have registered to then move somewhere else, if you go to Lusikisiki for instance, you then have to register in Lusikisiki, which will then cancel your previous registration" he added.
