KWT Bank employee in court for allegedly defrauding client

A 32-year-old woman who works for a Bank in King Williams Town is expected to appear in the local Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The suspect, who cannot be named until she has appeared in court, will be charged with fraud after she allegedly duped a client out of his pension money.

The Bank employee allegedly stole over R420 000 from the pensioner over an extended period.

The name of the Bank was not yet known.
