A conciliation meeting between the Knysna Tourism Board and dismissed tourism CEO Shaun van Eck has been set down for the 18th of December.
It will be presided over by the CCMA with Arbitration likely to follow.
The board charged and suspended Van Eck over finance and governance issues in September.
He was dismissed last Friday following a 5 day hearing in November at which he was found guilty on 8 of the 14 charges brought against him.
Van Eck told Algoafm news that he was going to the CCMA as he felt the hearing was fraught with both procedural and substantive issues.
He confirmed that he had also laid grievances against four members of the board, including the chairman and the deputy mayor.
The Board held a media briefing in Knysna late on Wednesday.
