Two children, who were left alone in their shack on Monday night has died, after their house burnt down.
Police Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha says the incident happened at a village in Centane.
It is alleged that a woman left the two boys, aged 7 and 12, alone in the shack.
She was later informed that the shack was on fire and rushed home in the early hours of the morning.
Manatha says the cause of the fire is unknown.
Both children were rushed to hospital where the 7-year-old was declared dead upon arrival.
The 12-year-old died on Wednesday.
It is not yet clear if the two boys were brothers.
Police have opened an inquest docket and will also investigate as to why the children were left alone.
