Two little brothers from Great Brak River had a lucky escape after they were assaulted with a rock by a 26-year-old man.
Police said the boys, aged five and nine, were playing cricket on Monday when they were accosted by the suspect.
He allegedly threw a rock at the little boy, hitting him in the face, while the older boy was treated for injuries to his arm.
The toddler had to receive stitches.
Police said the man will appear in court in Great Brak on Tuesday on charges of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
