A 12-year-old schoolgirl who was kidnapped near Butterworth last week has been found, but her kidnapper is still at large.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says the child was spotted when they went to a house to eat on Monday night.
A man identified the child and took her to her parents.
Manatha said the child told them that she had been repeatedly raped during her kidnap ordeal.
Police are searching for the 38 year old suspect who is believed to be the victims uncle.
