The Karoo National Park lion that was recaptured last week is likely to be moved out of the park
A spokesperson for SANParks Fayroush Ludick says the lion is currently in a boma inside the park and fitted with a collar. The likely scenario is that he will be moved out of the Park.
The park has not yet decided where his next home will be.
Ludick says another young male from the park will most likely be sent with him.
The animal escaped from the boundaries of the Karoo National Park in mid-February and was darted in an area around 120 kilometres from the park a month later.
