Johannesburg man escapes near drowning experience at Wilderness Beach

A 29-year old man has escaped a near drowning experience at The Steps at Wilderness Beach.

NSRI Spokesperson, Craig Lambinon says the man from Johannesburg was found on Monday afternoon already on the beach, suffering from near drowning symptoms.

Lambinon says it appears the man had been caught in rip currents while swimming with friends.

He was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
