Joggers find body of PE drowning victim

The body of a man who drowned at Kings Beach on Sunday afternoon, has washed up on the beach.

Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says the body of 26-year-old Tshepo Mashebele, was found by joggers on Kings Beach on Tuesday morning.

He moved from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth two weeks ago to take up a position at Schindler's Lifts.

A colleague and three other people were rescued by lifesavers when they got caught in a rip current.

Mashebele was one of six people who drowned on Nelson Mandela Bay beaches in January.
