Ten people were confirmed dead when a bus with 49 people and three crew members, crashed on a hairpin bend between George and Oudtshoorn in the early hours on Thursday morning.
Eighteen people were admitted to hospital, nine of which are seriously injured including four children.

Intercape said in a statement that injured passengers had been taken to hospital. The cause of the accident is not yet known and is under investigation.
The bus company's legal counsel, Roelien Van Der Walt, said company records show that the bus had undergone a roadworthy test on the 7th of April which was valid until August 6th.
She says in terms of a brake test was performed on the 5th of May.
