Intercape bus driver in court following fatal accident

 A 25-year-old Intercape bus driver will appear in court in Oudtshoorn again today.

Gaurdner Govere was charged with multiple counts of culpable homicide following an accident last week in which 10 people were killed and dozens more injured.

He is expected to bring a formal bail application on Wednesday.

The cause of the accident on the road between George and Oudtshoorn is still underway.

The Intercape bus was en route from Cape Town to Queenstown when it crashed.
