The innocent bystander who was gunned down in Perridgevale in Gqeberha on Good Friday is yet to be identified.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says a person is expected to arrive in the Metro from the Western Cape on Wednesday to do a formal identification before the victim's name is released.
The man was one of three people who were killed when gunmen allegedly targetted a man and a woman at a bus ticket office on Friday.
The 21-year-old Davedene Van Zyl and 36-year-old Johannes Bruintjies died in a hail of bullets.
Meanwhile, two suspects aged 29 and 36 who were subsequently arrested are due to appear in court on Tuesday.
They were arrested following a high-speed chase involving a silver-grey Honda Civic seen driving away from the crime scene.
Colonel Naidu says the vehicle with five occupants crashed into a lamppost in Neave Street in Shauderville after being chased by police.
The suspects scattered in different directions and anti-gang united members, assisted by Mount Road police, managed to arrest two of them in Peddie Street in Korsten.
Two firearms were also recovered.
The suspects face charges of attempted murder for shooting at police officials, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, and possession of stolen property after it was ascertained that the Honda Civic had been hijacked in Humewood earlier in the day.
Detectives are also probing their possible link to the murders and are continuing the search for the remaining suspects.
