The woman whose body was found floating in the sea at Mossel Bay on Monday has still not been identified.
Spokesperson for police Warrant Officer Pieter Koekemoer says the woman was in her late teens or early twenties.
Koekemoer says the woman has black long hair and was wearing a black bikini top and denim shorts.
The body was recovered from the sea near the caravan park after a man who was watching the waves saw it floating near the rocks at the Point.
Koekemoer says the body is not in an advanced stage of decomposition and they suspect that it was in the water for under 48 hours.
He says no persons have been reported missing and no drownings have been reported.
