Humansdorp man perishes in shack fire

A man from Humansdorp has died after a fire engulfed his shack in KwaNomzamo

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkholi, said they were alerted to the fire at around 04.30 on Sunday morning.

"The remains of the man were discovered under the debris. An inquest docket was opened for investigation," he said.

Nkohli said the name of the deceased would be released after a formal identification was completed.
