A 58 year old Humansdorp businessman and grandfather has been jailed for sexually assaulting his two young grandchildren.
The man, who cannot be named, was sentenced in the Humansdorp magistrate's court on Thursday.
He was arrested in January by members of the Humansdorp Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit for abusing the girls, aged four and seven.
They had moved to Humansdorp from Gauteng with their parents and had lived on the same property as their grandfather.
