Western Cape police have seized 409 kilogrammes of dagga worth more than half a million rand.
Police captain Malcolm Potjie says the two consignments of dagga confiscated in the past week had a total value of 573-thousand rand.
He said two suspects had already appeared in the Beaufort-West magistrates' court and will remain in custody until their next court appearances in the first week of January.
Potjie said similar anti-drug operations would be conducted for the remainder of the festive season.
