House Robbers arrested and convicted in Garden Route

Two young men appeared in the George Magistrate's court on Monday after being charged with housebreaking and theft at Kleinkrantz at Wilderness.
The accused, 18 year-old Marshall Ruiters and 19 year old Jaco Miggels were remanded in custody and the case was postponed to the 18th of August for further investigation.
Southern Cape Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Potje says two pistols and three revolvers were stolen from the safe at a house in Kleinkrantz last week.
An 18-year-old suspect was arrested near the refuse site in Kleinkrantz later the same day and was found to be in possession of two of the stolen firearms.
Potjie says the 19 year-old suspect was arrested last Friday in the same area, leading to the recovery of the outstanding three firearms.
Meanwhile two burglars encountered the long arm of the law when they heavily punished for a house robbery in Great Brak River in 2011.
The 29-year-old Fabio Majote and the 27-year-old Francisco Manussa was found guilty of house robbery for a robbery that took place in September 2011 in Great Brak River.
The accused were sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in the Mossel Bay Regional Court. One of the men was sentenced to an additional 15 years imprisonment for a house robbery that took place in the same year in Pienaarstrand, Great Brak River.
He received a sentence of 30 years imprisonment for both robberies.
