The Hawks in the Eastern Cape have arrested for more suspects for allegedly defrauding Buffalo City of R11.8m.
This brings to 10 the number of suspects nabbed so far, and according to the Hawks they are not done yet.
Provincial police spokesperson, lieutenant Kaya Ntonjeni, says the four were arrested on Tuesday morning and have appeared in court where they were granted bail of R500.
They are Simphiwe Armstrong Gwana (43) a former BCM general manager, Siyasanga Kubukeli (30), Zuko Bolowana (31) and Zintathu Tinto (33).
"They are due to appear again in the East London Regional Court on 12 February 2013. More arrest are imminent," he said.
The other suspects Thumeka Sithembu (33), Doreen Nomakhephu Tukela (50), Mthetho Ganyaza (40), Linda Mkoko (36), Phelisa Nocanda (44) and Linda Mkosana (46), have already appeared in court in East London and were released on bail of R500 each.
