The nine-year-old girl from Hartenbos who disappeared with her father on the 14th of October has been reunited with her mother.
This follows a three-week search for Yaleen Maré, who was reported missing by her mother, Phia-Mari.
Her father, Jacob Mare, who resides in Namibia, picked her up from her school in Hartenbos and took her over the border without her mother’s consent.
Police confirmed to Algoa FM news that Yaleen was handed over to her mother in Namibia on Wednesday.
This follows a high court order obtained from the high court in Windhoek, which stated that the child should be handed over to Phia-Mari.
The father has not been arrested, as there was only a court order to locate the missing child.
