Grocotts Mail building in Grahamstown has a new owner

 The historic Grocotts Mail building in Grahamstown has a new owner.

Pam Golding Properties says the building, which was constructed in 1892, has been purchased by Supello Investments, for an undisclosed sum.

Grahamstown area principal, Daphne Timm, says the sale was an emotional one for owner, Jeff Grocott and the Grocott family.

Grocott's Mail newspaper occupies the top two floors of the building and remains a tenant.
