Police are searching for three suspects who robbed the Post Office in Great Brak River on Wednesday morning.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Lauriane Botha, said their preliminary investigation suggests that the suspects waited for the security officer to unlock the building.
She said he was then allegedly forced to open the safe before being tied up.
Botha said the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a white VW Polo.
Police are investigating a case of armed robbery, and anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of the suspects is urged to contact their nearest police station.
