Great Brak River police investigate a case of murder following the death of elderly man

Police members from Great Brak River opened a murder docket after the lifeless body of a 76-year old man was found in his home on a small village known as the Island in Great Brak River on Monday morning.

Police spokesperson, Captain Malcom Potjie says the victims house was found in a mess and provisionally robbery seems to be the motive behind the murder.

The man allegedly died from stab wounds.

No suspects have been arrested.
