The fire-ravaged PJ Olivier High School in Grahamstown has been closed.
This after a fire destroyed the school's 600-thousand rand computer block and several classrooms yesterday.
Headmaster, Piet Snyders says they're busy with assessors this morning but damage estimates are expected to top the million rand mark.
Snyders says he's closed the school for the rest of the week, while temporary teaching space is being identified in the hostel and remaining school buildings.
Neighbouring Victoria Girls High has come to PJ's rescue.
Snyders says his pupils will continue with their IT computer studies at VG.
