A case of possession of dagga is being investigated after a 26 year old man was arrested near Grahamstown and dagga worth more than R30 000 seized.
Police captain Mali Govender says members of the Grahamstown K9 Unit were conducting a patrol when they stopped and pulled over a taxi.
On searching the vehicle, they found a bag packed with several plastic bags of dagga which were all tightly wrapped.
The suspect boarded the taxi in East London and was on his way to Port Elizabeth.
He'll appear in the Grahamstown magistrates Court soon.
