Approximately R370 800 worth of mandrax, tik and cocaine have been seized by Grahamstown Police who discovered the drugs in a suitcase on a Greyhound Bus travelling on the N2 towards Port Elizabeth.
No one has been arrested.
Captain Mali Govender says members of Provincial Traffic stationed at Grahamstown stopped the bus at a vehicle check point on Sunday and conducted a routine search of the trailer.
They found a black suitcase in the case compartment with only two items of women's clothing packed with mandrax , tik and cocaine.
Captain Govender says its not the first time drugs have been seized during routine stop and searches of passenger buses travelling across-province.
