Grahamstown horror crime: Bail will be strongly opposed

Eastern Cape Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Celiwe Binta has commended Grahamstown detectives for the swift apprehension of four suspects linked to the brutal attack on a Grahamstown family.
Police Captain Mali Govender says the four suspects are due to appear in court on Tuesday where bail will be strongly opposed.
Two men aged 34 and 44 were arrested on Saturday night, and two men, both in their twenties were arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning
Mali says a task team arrested the suspects within 24 hours of the incident that occurred on Saturday.
The home owner in her thirties and four young girls between the ages of 8 and 19 were shot in their home in Vukani.
The elder woman was assaulted with a hammer, raped and strangled, and the 15-year-old girl tied up and stabbed in her head.
