Graaff-Reinet woman arrested for murder

Graaff-Reinet Police have arrested a 42-year old woman for the alleged murder of a 32-year old man.

Spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson says it is alleged that the man was stabbed in Asherville at the Karoo town on Saturday.

He says the victim sustained a stab wound to the upper chest.

The motive behind the murder is not known.

Rawlinson says the woman was arrested and is due to appear in the Graaff-Reinet Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
