Gqeberha detectives are seeking the community’s help in tracing a person of interest in a double murder that took place during the early hours of Tuesday morning in New Brighton.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, said they responded to a shooting at a house in Mhambehlala Street at around 2 am that morning.
She said the bodies of two men were found with gunshot wounds to the head.
They were identified as 23-year-old Bagcine Sith and 29-year-old Andile Williams.
Janse van Rensburg says police believe that a person known as Luthando, who resides in the area, could assist in the investigation.
