Gqeberha police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a pedestrian was hit on the N2 near the John Tallant offramp on Saturday.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says according to police information, the driver of a white Chevrolet LDV was traveling towards Bluewater Bay just before 8 am, when an unknown man, dressed in an orange overall with jeans, crossed the freeway and was hit by the vehicle.
She says the driver stopped and the pedestrian was found lying in bushes between the lanes of the freeway.
Anyone who can assist in identifying the man can contact the nearest police station.
