Gqeberha police investigate alleged rape of young woman at Schoenmakerskop

The Gqeberha Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences unit is investigating a case of alleged rape at Schoenmakerskop outside the city.

Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says members of the community found the victim, a 23-year-old woman, on Sunday.

She says they found her at around 9:30 am.

Janse van Rensburg says no further information is available, and the investigation is ongoing.
