The K9 unit arrested two suspects following the murder of an 87-year-old man in Walmer in Gqeberha on Saturday evening.
Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says it is alleged that the daughters of the deceased, Richard Adams visited his home and after they knocked on the door, no one answered.
She says they became suspicious when they saw movement in the house and immediately contacted the 10111 centre.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 36-year old man and a 28-year-old woman inside.
The house was searched, and the victim's body was found wrapped in a blanket in a locked bedroom.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says he sustained multiple stab wounds.
Both suspects were arrested they will appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court this week.
